Catching Up!
Just wanna catch y'all up...

Michelle is getting a regular shift starting May 1st! Regular shift of 4 on / 4 off, as opposed to whenever they had a hole in the schedule. Seems that due to an unfortunate circumstance, for someone else, Michelle has moved up on the seniority list! It will be a REALLY cool to have her on a regular schedule!! Say it with me people, "Woohoo-woohoohoo"!! Sure, weekend shifts will still happen, probably not as many of them, but now we can plan them out months in advance.

I think we'll keep picking on Michelle tonight. I mentioned a couple weeks ago that she was going to get pepper sprayed (oleoresin capsicum) as part of her training with the SD. Well, she won't let me show you all the pictures. I can tell you this, you probably never ever wanna piss off a deputy who has a can of that pepper spray. Another tidbit of good info, just in case you get a dose, don't take a shower right away. Man, she looked a 100 times worse a couple hours AFTER getting sprayed when she got out of the shower. Maybe someday she'll agree to let me post pictures. I can tell you this, as long as she carries that pepper spray, I am not gonna cross her:-) After getting sprayed she still had to deliver 3 blows to a padded person, drag them down, and make a call for assistance on the radio. Yikes... Not me, no way!!

Still staying on Michelle... Her Uncle passed away this week, keeping the family in our minds this week.

Something about me!! Check out the Moblog, enough said:-)

How to sneak into the USA...
I found this kind of disturbing.

The Mexican state of Yucatan apparently has a guide, with an accompanying DVD, outlining how to get into the USA. I think, last I heard, we have over 11 million illegal shit-weasels in the country now.

I say, screw NAFTA, erect big friggin walls and keep them out! Those that make it past the walls should be shot from guard towers, located every 500 yards along the wall. The towers will be equipped with 50 caliber machine gun turrets! We don't really have to worry about any big walls up north yet, Canadia hates us anyway, eh.

Look at this, taken directly from Chapter One of NAFTA:

Article 102: Objectives

1. The objectives of this Agreement, as elaborated more specifically through its principles and rules, including national treatment, most-favored-nation treatment and transparency are to:

(a) eliminate barriers to trade in, and facilitate the cross border movement of, goods and services between the territories of the Parties;

Eliminate barriers so we can host 11 million illegal immigrants, er, "goods and services". Nice... Nuke 'em I say!

Bloggin about headlines...
Sometimes, I'll post about the headline du jour, but usually, I'll post when I find a neat link or have a rant. I thought maybe BP was goofin around and sent me the following message, but his spelling ain't that good:-) Here is a message I received today. Someone, IP points to Florida (BP's mom?), apparently found my little bloggin spot from another blog (cool). They wonder why I haven't blogged about Terri Schiavo (I had to check spelling).

Date: 03/25/2005 @ 15:06:42
Name: me
E-Mail: me@me.com
Subject: blog
Message:
how come you haven't blogged about terry shavo. found your site from other blog site. you don't mention here

I can see why this topic has people talking. I've talked about it with family and friends, just not in my blog. Why? There is no right or wrong answer. Just opinions. We have people giving us political, religous, medical, and personal opinions.

My only question in the whole deal is this... Who put the tube in in the first place? Depending on that answer, I might have a few more opinions.

Last bit on this... Get your legal paperwork in order!! All of this could have been avoided if her wishes were written down. Personally, I don't have this written down anywhere, yet. But, both my parents know I would not like to live like that and so does my wife. In case you've forgotten, that was a reminder, hint-hint:-) Have BP take me for a walk in the woods, when needed.

We're #1 on MSN Search Engine!! *****REVISED*****
Ok, we're attracting some high quality perv searches to the MoBlog. It was time to combat MSN's search engine with a bit of logic and fun:-) Now if you click the link below and go to MSN's search site, click on our MoBlog link. Where did you wind up? That may change from time to time as I see fit:-)

For this query

LMAO!! It would seem that the combination of Leinenkugel's Big Butt Doppelbock, featured in my Moblog, and a really crappy search engine gets us the Number 1 ranking for that query. Today, believe it or not, the Moblog received about 40 hits, +/- a few, from the MSN search engine on that exact query!! Almost all were from unique IP addresses. Let's see how well this page indexes. Unless I get number 1 on google.com, it don't mean a thing:-) I couldn't even find the Moblog on google.com, using that query, for all the porn.

This proves one thing... Idiots are actually using MSN for a search engine. Come on peeps... Remove your head from your doppelbock!!

Sinus Infection Squared... Pepper Spray... Rant...
Michelle and Mike have been hit with a sinus infection. Mike has been sick on and off since we both had the Crandon Crud back at the first part of February. It went away for a bit; though he still had sniffles and stuff. Then Michelle got the Crandon Crud and was miserable for a few weeks before finally seeing the doctor and getting told she had a sinus infection. She started feeling better after a few days on the antibiotics. Now, we're back to Mike again:-) He had a fever on Sunday and slept on and off and complained of a terrible headache all weekend. Monday he went to the doctor, honking with that nasty cough, snorting, farting, and sneezing. You name it; it was comin outta the boy. So, now he's taking antibiotics too. I worked from home today and we kept Mike home. Michelle worked last night and she needed her sleep to work tonight.

I guess tomorrow is the day that Michelle is gonna get sprayed with the pepper spray at work. She's gotten a couple small doses during skirmishes at work, but this will be a full on dose all to herself. If she lets me post details, or she cares to post the details herself, we'll let ya know:-)

Some things have been happening, and continue to happen at work, that don't leave me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Anyone looking for a computer programmer / systems admin??? The big buzz word on management's lips is proactive. I think that buzz word is very apropos when considering future employment options...

Dooced?
Have you ever heard the term, "dooced"? Actually, kinda scary! Check out the meaning.

I would like to think that my employer/boss would have more of a life and not find reading my stuff very interesting. Who knows, maybe I could have gotten extra in my bonus this week for being a poor bastard with no life:-) I never mention my company by their name, and have only mildly bashed them. Trust me, this could be REALLY fun if it was all about work:-) I imagine that my FM activities would be frowned upon by HR. Oh well.

This is the person responsible for the term. I think she may have wrote a bit too much. But, where do you draw the line?

If you haven't been by the Moblog in a while, stop on by. We had a headless belly dancer and a near hazmat incident the other day!

SIX MONTHS!!!
Ok... A big day for me! Today marks six months since I last had a smokie. This is the first time that I have been smoke-free for 6 straight months since I was 11 years old.

Around The World = $$$$$$$$$$$
I was reading an article today about the dude who is flying around the world, non-stop. Pretty cool stuff! I read in the article that he was carrying 18,000 pounds of fuel. As I was pumping fuel into the Yota tonight, I thought of that dude again; that's an expensive trip!!!! :-)

They have a flight tracker on the Virgin Atlantic GlobalFlyer website. He's making some good progress. I checked up on him from time-to-time while at work today. He flew across northern Africa. I like that geeky GPS stuff and tracking. It's even more cool when the put stuff like that on the web for us to check on.

Here is a link to the tracking site.

Keep a tight one... (Thanks Jimmy)
