Tis the season... Everyone in your address book is busy sending you Xmas related websites and the funny Xmas tunes of the season start getting played on the radio. I heard one such tune today. I have no idea who sings it, I Googled "redneck Christmas lyrics" and it was number one. Here is the last verse. On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me... Twelve-pack of Bud, eleven wrestlin tickets, tin of Copenhagen, nine years probation, eight table dancers, seven packs of Red Band, six cans of Spam, five flannel shirts, four big mud tires, three shotgun shells, two huntin dogs, and some parts to a Mustang GT. Here's a link for you to go play with Santa in a neat little flash game:-) Watch out for the train tracks!! Use the arrow buttons on your keyboard to guide him to his cup so he can get buzzed. What?? You didn't get your fill of Redneck Xmas?? Well, here's a link to a white trash Xmas! Click on the "Watch Film" link under the baby with the Miller Lite (good baby!!). Do you remember writing letters to Santa?? I sure do! I wish we had the Internet back in the 1970's! This link sure would have saved me a whole bunch of time!! Here is a link to a movie file located on my server. I do not know the details regarding the movie, but it is very funny. It is about 2 megs, so if you have dialup, it may take you a bit. Does anyone have dialup anymore? I think BP was the last convert to broadband!! Cops pull over Santa. I know that we have all probably felt like belting out this song at the good old employer sponsored Christmas party. I sure wish I had at more than one place I've worked at in the past!! Click here to check it out. Speaking of work... I had a link to a dumb ass "holiday greeting" they had posted on their website. They e-mailed it to everyone. I think they wanted us to send it on to clients. OMG, how frickin stoopid is that!! "Yeah, thanks big dollar clients, here's a spiffy little animated gif for ya to look at and read all about how great we are". Yeah, whatever, dorks! The big Q, all over it, as usual... They did give us a holiday gift this year! A shirt. I even got one in extra extra extra extra fat! Even though I only need a 3x fat shirt, I took 4x fat. Why? Simple... Costs more!! This will undoubtedly make up for that lackluster .34% pay increase we're sure to get. I should not be so optimistic:-) Actually, 4x is big enough that the whole family will be able to use it as a homeless shelter when they close our office! My wonderful company closed one of our California offices a week and a half ago. They aren't moving the division, no, they are abandoning it entirely!! Not relocating it, selling it, nothing... Their taking the write-off and tossing some peeps out on their ears after 2/14/2005. Nice Xmas present for the 80 or so employees out there, huh? {hanging head in shame} Lastly, watching just about anything over at Jib Jab is well worth the visit!! The Santa Claus flash animations they have come up with are pretty good. If I don't get the time to come out and post a message on Xmas eve, have a great Christmas!! |

So, has anyone else been listening to more Pantera in the last day or so? Kinda sad what happened to the former Pantera guitarist, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. Sounds like a disgruntled fan decided that if Dimebag wasn't playing with Pantera, he wasn't gonna play anywhere. Dimebag's brother was a drummer in their new group, Damageplan, and witnessed the shooting. Good thing the police were there within a minute and gave the shooter a face wash of lead, otherwise, who knows how many others he might have killed. Here is a link to an article on MSNBC. Really wasn't a huge fan of the group Pantera, but "Cowboy's From Hell" and "Walk" were among my favorites. |

Here is a cool article about Brett Favre and his 200th regular season game start. I like the writer, Steve Czaban. He's got a pretty entertaining site for the guys:-) See if this site has a picture of your favorite Rock 'n Roller in their youth. It's funny seeing the Metallica guys! Manson looks like some geeked out nerd who probably got beat up often. SIte is in some foriegn language, but the names are in English. |
